Title: Aladdin

Starring: Scott Weinger (Aladdin), Robin Williams (Genie), Linda Larkin (Princess Jasmine), Jonathan Freeman (Jafar)

Rating: You have to see this!

Aladdin was about a “street rat” who had to steal to live. One day, the guards caught him and he was thrown in jail. When in prison, he met an old man who sent Aladdin into a cave where Aladdin found a magic lamp. After the monstrous cave, Aladdin gave the lamp to the old man, only to have it stolen back by his friend. Aladdin rubbed the lamp, and out popped a genie! Aladdin got three wishes. His first was to become a prince. The genie saved him, so that was his second wish. His final wish was to set the genie free, but, that never happened and an evil man named Jafar stole it. Jafar became the most powerful man, probably on Earth and even became a genie! Would he take over the world?

I really liked the movie. My favorite part was when the genie first sang his song when he came out of the lamp.

This movie is for all ages. A kindergartener could understand what is going on, and adults might find some parts funny. Everyone can watch this fantastic movie!

Title: Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups

Starring: Cheryl Ladd, Kaitlyn Maher, Robert Vince

Rating: You have to see this!

The movie was mostly about Christmas and saving the Christmas spirit in Pineville. In the beginning, Santa Paws puppies were going to be born: three girls and one boy. They were the most cutest puppies. The Santa pups were growing up super fast. In school they were learning about magical crystals that they used to grant wishes. Mrs. Claus was going down to Pineville one morning. The Santa pups hopped in the sleigh to grant Christmas wishes, but nobody knew the Santa pups were going with Mrs. Claus to Pineville, USA. There was lots of cheer in Pineville when Mrs. Claus got there. The first wish they granted was a good wish, the second grant was a good wish, but the third wish was not a good wish. See the movie to find out what happened!

I really liked the movie. My favorite part was when Sarah sang her first song on the radio. Sarah’s song was so beautifully sang.

I think the movie is for kids of all ages, any kid would probably even know what’s going on in the movie. Anyone can watch this movie. If you do, I really hope you like it!

Title: Rio 2

Starring (Humans): Jessie Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, Jemaine Clement

Rating: You have to see this!

In Rio 2, starring Jessie Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, and Jemaine Clement, a family of five, the Blue Macaws, discover that their long lost family was hiding in the Amazon jungle. They meet many of Jewel’s aunts and uncles. In that time, food was getting scarce because illegal loggers were cutting down forests. But In that amazing journey, Blu had learned something inside of him. He was only caring about himself. If he had a family, then he should care more about his family. He had come to the end of his self-centeredness. And when he came to that point, he finally stopped the loggers once and for all. But that wasn’t the only bad news, the antagonist of the last movie, Nigel, had come back with a new sidekick, Gabi, a poisonous dart frog.

I really liked the movie because of how it made me laugh. The jokes were kid friendly, kids could get them, and they were just funny. Another thing I liked about it was the lesson it would teach kids. It teaches kids to not to be self-centered and rude to anyone.

I would recommend this to kids five and up. I think this would be safe for anyone to watch because there is no bad language, no bad stuff. You should really watch this!

So the boy showed Lewis the time machine. Then they were in the future. Wilbur said that he had to go back and fix the machine that Lewis made. Lewis did not want to fix the machine. Then he crashed the time machine. Lewis had to fix the time machine that he had broken. So they went to the Wilbur’s house. Lewis met the Wilbur’s family and they had dinner together. Wilbur’s family said that they wanted to adopt Lewis, but they did not know that Lewis was from the past. Once Wilbur’s family found out that Lewis was from the past, they told him that they could not adopt him. Lewis then ran into the bowler hat guy. He told Lewis that he would help him if he put the machine back together. Lewis did put the machine back together, but the bowler hat guy was going to ruin the future. Will Lewis save the future or will the bowler hat guy ruin the future?

I like this move because it is funny and really good. I also like it because it is a great adventure movie.

Rating: You should see this!

Mulan Two is about Mulan’s adventure after the first movie. In Mulan Two, Mulan has to escort three princesses to another kingdom for an arranged marriage. During the escort they run into problems such as exploding carts, wet gear, and runaway brides. Then Shane falls of a cliff and Mulan takes the place of the princesses in the arranged marriage. Will Mulan go though with it? Will Shane come back? You have to watch to find out.

My favorite part was when Shane fell off a bridge and Mulan cried.

I really liked the movie. I think it’s for all ages, but you might not know what is going on in some parts because it’s confusing.

Title: WALL-E

Starring (Humans): Ben Burtt, Elissa Knight

Rating: You should see this!

WALL – E is about the last robot on earth cleaning up the place, and being lonely. That is, until EVE shows up. EVE is a scanning robot sent by humans to scan Earth. When WALL – E sees EVE, he began his biggest quest to follow the robot through the galaxy. WALL – E stands for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-class.

WALL – E is a good movie. Although it does get kind of boring at parts, it’s a good movie to watch to pass the time. The fact of it being in the future when we desert earth, makes the movie more interesting. The worst parts are when WALL – E is just shoveling trash.

So do yourself a favor, and watch WALL-E. It’s actually a pretty good movie. And there are some hidden meanings, too.

The movie The Little Princess is about a little girl who lives with her father in Japan. The little girl’s name is Sara. Sara and her father one day go to this big city. Sara will be staying in the city at a boarding school for girls. The school is very strict and is not what Sara had in mind. Her father has to leave her there because he is going to war. As she becomes friends with the other maid in the attic Bethany she gets herself into more mischief. Will she ever see her father again? Is her father really dead? Will she stay?

In my opinion the movie The Little Princess is a well published movie. This is not a just for girl movie boys would like it too. The movie at one point made me cry. It’s a very emotional rollercoaster first it is sad, then happy, then scary, then sad again. Like I said, very emotional. That’s my opinion on the movie The Little Princess.

I would recommend this movie to people who like emotional movies. Kids would like this movie to. This movie is rated “G” so kids and grown ups can watch it all. This an amazing movie. I, for one personally, think anyone would cry. Then if you like this movie if you have seen it or if you want to see it. Go And Get This Movie!

Title: Meet the Robinsons

Starring (Humans): Daniel Hansen, Wesley Singerman,

Rating: You have to see this!

Meet the Robinsons is about an orphan named Lewis who has created tons of inventions and none of them work. He was then found by a teenager named Walter who is from the future. Walker came from the future to warn him about a guy in a bowler hat. They then travel back to the future with a time machine. Unfortunately Lewis breaks the time machine. The bowler hat guy has the other time machine, and battles occur between him and Lewis and Walter. I cannot go into more detail or it would give the ending away.

I like how funny the book was. I disliked some of the weird scenes. I also liked the ending as it was a shocker.

I recommend this movie to everyone six years old and up. I recommend this to six years old an up because it is really funny and I think that one to five year olds would not understand the humor.

Title: Meet The Robinsons

Starring (Humans): Stephen J. Anderson, Daniel Nansen, Weslex Singerman, Angela Bassett, Jordan Fly, Tom Selleck, Adam West, Nicole Sullivan, Harland Williams, Don Hall, Laurie Metcalf, Tom Kenny, Ethan Sandler, Matthew Josten, Jessie Flower, Nathan Greno, Joseph Mateo, Paul Butcher

Rating: You have to see this!

This movie is about a boy who tries to get adopted but he’s too smart, so no one wants him. He has friend who tries to get adopted, but that one night he kept his friend up. His friend’s life wasn’t successful. Then his future son comes back in time for him to fix the time machine he went there with. When he gets to the future, he fixes the time machine, but he saw himself in the future. His future son doesn’t tell his mom he brought his dad as a kid to the future and his mom gets mad. He made two time machines, but his old friend in the future took the other one.

I liked this movie because it was long enough and not too short. It wasn’t really like a movie for a little kid which you might think, but it’s not. The movie is exciting, sometimes, not all the time. The movie made me laugh sometimes and get scared.

I would recommend this movie to ages three up to eighteen because my sister watched it with me and she’s eighteen. The reason why I said three years old is because three and under might not know what’s going on. I think I would also recommend this book for people who like cartoonish movies.

Meet the Robinsons is about Lewis, an orphan who is confronted by Wilbur Robinson at a science fair, and is taken to the future, along with Wilbur’s HUGE family. Wilbur tells Lewis to watch out for a guy in a bowler hat named Doris, for some reason, as he will try to shape the future and make an apocalypse of bowler hats, big and small. That means NO fedoras, NO baseball caps, and NO hardhats. terrible, right? But anyways, Lewis is taken from the time of 2007 to 2037, where singing frogs are as common as talking dinosaurs. Crazy, right? So, the crazy bowler hat guy tries to get Lewis to talk to him and Lewis finds out it is Goob, his former roommate. Lewis realizes the fate of the world is in his hands and he puts an end to it. Good job, Lewis!

My favorite part was when the frog and the T-rex said, “I have a big head, and tiny arms, and I’m starting to question how this plan was thought through. Master?”

I would recommend this movie to all ages, because it is rated “G” and even some adults might find it funny. Therefore, it is a great movie for all ages to watch.

Meet the Robinsons is about an orphan boy named Louis who invents things to get adopted. Everytime he tries making an invention, it goes crazy. He goes to a science fair and once again his invention goes crazy.

I liked that the movie was sad and sweet. It was sad and sweet because the Robinsons couldn’t keep him. It was sweet because the Robinsons wanted to keep him.

I would recommend this movie to kids who like sad movies and kind movies. I think kids who are three shouldn’t watch this because they probably wouldn’t understand it.

Title: Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium

Rating: You have to see this!

Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium is about a magic toy store that had a temper tantrum, because Mr. Magorium was going to die. Then the store lost all its magic and turned gray. Then the manager, “who was the new owner”, tried to put the store up for sale. I’ll let you watch the rest.

I think that you should watch this because it makes you think that everything won’t work out… it is also fun. It also keeps you on the edge of your seat. You should totally watch this movie.

I would recommend this movie to anyone because it is fun and magical. There’s no bad stuff. The movie also kicks off your imagination. It is also a good family movie.

A Little Princess is about a girl who lived in a foreign country, but unfortunately they have to move to America because her dad is in the war. When she is sent to boarding school she is treated like a princess and then they find out that her dad is dead.

My favorite part is when she loses all her belongings, because her dad is dead. My other favorite part would ruin the movie for you, so I will just stop there. My least favorite part is when they move from the foreign land to America.

I would recommend this to anybody because it is rated “G”.

Title: Ponyo

Starring (Humans): Noah Cyrus

Rating: You have to see this!

It’s about a little girl named Ponyo who is basically a little red fish. As for her dad, well I don’t know what to call him. He’s this person that lives in a boat/submarine thing. He has a lot of daughters that look like Ponyo, but they don’t have names (if they do, they’re not shown in the movie) and they’re a bit smaller. They can’t talk either. They’re closer to that of a fish. They aren’t a big part of the movie, so I’ll just leave it at that and leave the rest of the explanation to the movie. So you better watch it! (Her mother is some sort of goddess of mercy, or something.) Anyway, somewhere at the beginning of the movie, Ponyo escapes and gets sucked into this weird trash collecting boat, and ends up with her face stuffed in a jar. She washes in down at the bottom of a cliff that a boy (Sosuke) and his mother (Lisa) live on top of. The boy plays down at the bottom of the cliff and finds her stuffed in a jar. He pulls her out and puts her in a green bucket. Well, if I say anymore, I’ll probably ruin the movie.

Now, onto my favorite part. My favorite part ruins the movie. My second favorite part also ruins the movie. My third favorite, however, doesn’t, so I’ll talk about that. When Sosuke calls Ponyo a goldfish. It’s actually really funny, because goldfish are, well, gold. Ponyo is crimson red. Also, only one cynical old woman out of about ten people that ever even saw Ponyo seemed to notice the fact that Ponyo had a suspiciously humanoid face.

Oh, and my least favorite part, I don’t have one. Well, if my life depended on picking a least favorite part, (which it thankfully doesn’t) it would probably be every time that people call Ponyo a goldfish. It actually starts to get annoying, seeing as she’s bright red, but the movie’s still great.

Ponyo is a really good movie in my opinion and seeing as it’s rated G, any age group can watch it.

Title: Anastasia

Starring: Meg Ryan, John Cusack, Kelsey Grammar

Rating: You have to see this!

Anastasia is about a little girl. When she is trying to get on a train, she falls on her head and loses her memory of everything. So she is sent to an orphanage. Once she is old enough to go out, she goes to find her family. When Anastasia gets to the city, she finds someone that can get her to Paris. That is where her family is. She has some troubles on the way, though. When she finds out that her family is there, and she can have a family again, she almost gets killed by falling off a bridge.

I would recommend this movie to 3rd and 4th graders. If you are older and you want to watch it, go ahead. It just might be a little violent for a younger age group, like 1st or 2nd graders.

I think it was a really good story and it deserves a four and a half, out of five stars. I think that if I had to change it, I would change the way she forgets everything. I think that in the movie they should have added parents for her. She just had a grandmother. Also, maybe they could have had a less violent beginning and end, for a “G” rated movie.

Title: Mulan

Starring (Humans): Ming no wen Eddie merfie

Rating: You should see this!

Mulan is great movie and I just watched it. Mulan is a girl who wants to be like every normal girl. Meanwhile, there is a battle between the Hans and China. Mulan takes her dad’s armor because her dad was going to fight. So she takes the armor and runs away, but not without her great ancestors. When she gets to training, everyone is fighting with her. They do not know she is a girl and then she started failing until she grabs the arrow from the top of a post and then everyone respects her. Then they have to go to battle and fight the Hans. She shoots the ice bridge and they lost the rest. You will have to watch it for yourself!

It was a great movie. I loved it! The main character was awesome, but the dad was the best.

I would say I rate it for ages seven and up for references and weirdness but you should watch this.

Title: Aladdin

Starring: Scott Weinger, Robin Williams, Linda Larkin, Jonathan Freeman

Rating: You have to see this!

Aladdin is a great movie and it has mystery and love. Aladdin is super cool cause he was a street rat and wanted to be loved, whereas Princess Jasmine did not want suitors to marry her and be forced into love. So she runs to the village and met Aladdin. He made up this crazy story that she was his sister and said she was crazy, of course she was not. He told to this guy that tried to arrest her, but he got locked up for “stealing the princess”. Of course he didn’t, and met this crazy guy in jail. He said he knew where a lamp was with a genie inside and Aladdin was happy with what he heard. So they busted out and went to the lamp. Aladdin found it and got covered in rocks and stuff from where the lamp was. He got out and the genie woke up and granted Aladdin three wishes. Sadly, I can not tell you as much as you want to know. Watch the movie and you won’t regret it.

What I liked about the movie was that Jasmine and Aladdin fall in love and Aladdin first wish is to be a prince to marry Jasmine. He would do anything for Jasmine even if it meant showing his true self in front of her (he loves her). What I did not like about the movie was that the genie gets stolen from Aladdin and does Jasmine by Jafar (he’s evil). Jasmine and Aladdin managed to get out of the crammed space they were in and take the genie with them.

I would not really recommend it to anyone, but the people who want to watch it. The love makes me cry sometimes and I like love it’s mysterious, but it’s fantastic.

Title: Fantasia

Rating: You have to see this!

In the movie Fantasia, they have Mickey Mouse starring. There are no voices in this movie, only music. It is a great movie to watch with your family. It is happy, sad, and silly. Many things happen in this movie, it is an emotional roller coaster throughout. Mickey goes through a lot of magic. It has all the comedy that kids love.

One of my favorite parts is the Mickey Mouse one when they have Mickey cause trouble. This is a magic story. It teaches you to take responsibility for you own work. I won’t tell the rest, but it is a movie of a lifetime.

I recommend that kids in grades 2-5 should watch this movie. It entertains me and makes me laugh. This is a comedy movie for kids. So buckle up and get ready for the roller coaster!
